The proposed Sisters of St. Bartholomew for the Autistic will emerge from the Association of Charity of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal (ACMM).

They will join the Charity Associates of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal (CAMM) group on Groups.io. They will be considered a CAMM member, but on the "Religious Life Track." There, they will receive CAMM-ACMM basic training for two years, and work with the online Leonie League - and locally, if possible - as a CAMM Autism Minister.

Afterward, the candidate will be received into the ACMM Seton Seminary group on Groups.io for 2 years and 4 months.

They will then be Missioned as ACMM Autism Ministers.

After a total of ten years, the ministers will be recognized with white haircover and aqua rosaries. They will continue to live the Evangelical Counsels in a spirit of Charity and common purpose.

They will retain their day jobs while working with the CAMM/ACMM online, and/or volunteering for autism in the community.

When more ACMM Autism Ministers have been received, and they wish to form their own community, they and the ACMM leadership will enter discernment. The group will, of necessity, need time for experimentation. The ACMM requests that three replacement vocations be received before the group branches off. However, we cannot impose restrictions on those who wish to leave.

Since the ACMM renew their commitment every March 25, those in experimentation will not renew their commitment on that date when ready to begin their project/actual living together. If world events prohibit shared living quarters, the group will create their documentation online. They will be calling themselves the Association of St. Bartholomew for the Autistic.

Once the experimentation period renders the foundational documents, the group will be able to petition a bishop for recognition as the Sisters of St. Bartholomew for the Autistic.
