The "contiguous method" of vocations promotion is actually quite simple. Each (Arch)diocese is usually surrounded by other dioceses. We have always promoted the theory of looking locally first, but we now expand that to the dioceses contiguous with one's own. This widens the field, and the neighboring diocese usually appreciates the promotion.

As stated on the homepage, Gemma, the Director of the ACMM Ministry of Our Lady of the Cloister, is physically situated in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina, thus placing her in the Diocese of Charlotte. Here are the Archdiocese and dioceses which are contiguous to her:

Home diocese: Charlotte, North Carolina

North: Diocese of Richmond, Virginia

East: Diocese of Raleigh, North Carolina

South: Diocese of Charleston, South Carolina

Southwest: Archdiocese of Atlanta, Georgia

West: Diocese of Knoxville, Tennessee

We plan to add the diocesean lists of the Cooperators should they share such with the webmaster.
