The Judith Circle is named for a discerner who invited two other discerners to her apartment after Mass at a monastery for coffee and vocational discussion. All involved found the experience to be uplifting. The three eventually found their vocations in the contemplative life.

We encourage discerners to use common sense when meeting other discerners for the first time.

Always use a "third party" as a meeting place, such as a church, restaurant, college campus, etc.

If uncomfortable with the meeting, have a prepared excuse for leaving. Never carpool unless you know the person.

The Judith Circle is a suggestion. There may be opportunities for meeting with vocational discerners though other organizations.

The ACMM Ministry of Our Lady of the Cloister is not responsible for any malfeasance which may occur during Judith Circle meetings. Background checks and/or other security measures will be the responsibility of the participants.
