St. Francis of Assisi received the inspiration to found the Franciscans on St. Matthias' feast day. Gemma also received the
inspiration for the Fremiot Education Association on his feast.

As a friend of St. Teresa of Avila, he assisted her with her reform of the Carmelites.
St. Gaspar Bertoni
Assisted Venerable Leopoldina Naudet with her Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Family. St. Bertoni was also known as
the "Apostle to the Consecrated Life."
