We intend the CCMM to be bi-ritual, since societies of apostolic life answer the needs of diocesan pastoral plans. Because
of this, vocations will need to be flexible where the Mass is concerned.
The 1939 Daughters of Charity prayer book we have shows that the DCs were bi-lingual -- they alternated Latin with English
in their prayers. We will be doing the same.
All candidates are in their own homes, and retaining their jobs, at this juncture. The seed vocations are assisting Gemma
with the development of the formation program, then will likely do a founder's novitiate with a congregation within one candidate's
diocese. Afterward, the location of the novitiate will be determined.
Because canon law states that members of a society of apostolic life must reside together, we will be looking to establishing
the apostolates where the candidates are located. This will also facilitate the group branching off into new charisms.
The new charisms will not be permitted to branch off until the base charism -- the CCMM -- has received replacement vocations.
