Ministry-to-Charism is our particular way of founding new religious communities from a "host" charism, the ACMM.
Our theory is that committed life as an ACMM will make the foundation of a new charism much easier for all involved.
The ACMM have written into their constitutions that they will be open to the movement of the Spirit where new religious
institutes are concerned. In light of the historical hostilities which have arisen from one congregation branching off from
another, we stand ready to facilitate new communities, both of another's founding and of our own.
Should one be attracted to one of our proposed charisms, they will join the CAMM; receive the formation; and develop their
sub-spirituality. If called to the committed ACMM, they will continue with Seton Seminary - Vincentian-speak for novitiate
- then make a non-vowed commitment to charity and common purpose.
If others are attracted to the ministry, and wish to form their own community, they will enter discernment regarding such
action. If attracted, they will form their own group, and the formation program will be developed by the members. If the
ACMM are in an actual convent at that time, the emerging group may have quarters on the property.
While we ask the charity of three replacement vocations being received by the ACMM before the new group officially branches
off, we cannot keep persons on our membership rolls against their wills.
