The convent is blessed with extensive grounds, known as St Georges Park, with views of the South Downs. There are flowers,
trees, lawns, fields, woodland, a lake and riverside, apple trees, allotments and a private walled cemetery.
There are geese and ducks on the lake. A visiting heron enjoys poaching the fish.
There are donkeys, a horse and a pony, rare breeds of sheep and cattle.
There are also the unusual additions of alpacas and water buffalo. They are not what you would expect to find in an English
meadow, but they seem to be quite happy.
There are also squirrels and birds in the wood. Here, a person can be surrounded with nature and the changing seasons.
