As one habit maker described the clothing of external witness, the habit is to the religious life what the uniform is to the soldier. The habit is to be used correctly, and only by those approved to wear it.

That being said, we encourage the use of light blue and light pink in one's daily wear, with the silver-toned Precious-Feet-in-the-Crown-of-Thorns pin. Those praying for the Autism Spectrum, specifically, are welcome to wear a gold puzzle piece pin next to the Precious Feet pin. If one does not desire to give away their status as a PCN, the pins do not have to be worn.
