In the pro-life world, there are several religious communities dedicated to the active apostolate on behalf of the unborn.
However, there are no communities dedicated specifically to the contemplative life on behalf of not only the unborn, but
those in the apostolate.
The Prolife Contemplative Network is comprised at this time of Dr. St. Gianna's Assistants for Life (DGAL) and Leonie
League members. The Leonie League is the prolife apostolate of one of our DGAL members. Persons on the Spectrum are being
targeted by pro-death forces for either assisted suicide or euthanasia.
We welcome prolife contemplatives, as long as they are knowledgeable of the Church's teachings on life issues.
Lay Contemplatives/Diocesan Eremites:
Diocesan eremites will need to notify their bishop of their interest in the prayer list. Membership on our Groups.io
main group will be required, along with PCN subgroup membership. The latter will be where the prayer intentions are posted.
"No email" is an option, so that the withdrawal element may be preserved.
Those working towards either recognized lay contemplative or diocesan hermit are encouraged to include membership to the
PCN in one's plan of life.
Dr. St. Gianna's Assistants for Life (DGAL) is intended to be the third order for the future Dominican Daughters of the
Holy Innocents & St. Gianna Molla. Current DGAL members are CCMM, and have "Companion" status.
