The Cloisterites' eremitic rule named itself "Nesting in the Sacred Heart." The rule calls for the hermits to nest
in the Sacred Heart of Jesus as a reparation for those who ignore Him and His Gifts.
The rule is based on that of Sts. Bruno & Columba, and incorporates the spirituality of Blessed Emilie D'Oultremont
and the Cloisterites. There are also passages from the Camaldolese; St. Francis of Assisi; and St. Albert of Jerusalem.
