***A proposed charism which will emerge as part of the Combination Division of the CAMM/CCMM.***

Motto:  "PAX!  By His Wounds We Are Healed!"

The Transfiguration Sisterhood will be founded to be of service in the traumatized inner-city neighborhoods, starting in the Macedonia area of High Point, North Carolina.

Through devotion to the Holy Wounds, the sisters will help transform the spiritually wounded--primarily children.  Their apostolates will include, but are not limited to, orphanages; homes for abused babies; schools; and retreat centers.  The first community will have all four apostolates as long-term goals.

The sisters' charism is based on a combination of the Benedictine, Salesian, and Brigittine spiritualities.

***Please note: we are not associated with the Brigittine, Benedictine, or Salesian religious orders.***

While meant to be Ecclesia Dei Traditionalist, the community will avail themselves of whichever Mass is available.  A goal is for their horarium to include a daily Latin Traditional Mass.  Otherwise, the Latin Divine Office; Rosary; Eucharistic adoration; the Chaplet of the Five Holy Wounds; Lectio Divina; and contemplative prayer will be part of the community's spiritual exercises.

The sisters' convents will have specified areas of cloister.

Please see the links to the left for further information about this proposed community.

Ages: 17 and up.  High school education or equivalent required.

If an aspirant is a Sedevacantist or belongs to another schismatic group, we recommend deep discernment before making application to this community.  Reconciliation with Rome is prerequisite.  May the Holy Ghost be your guide.
