From Holy Trinity Church, Augusta, Georgia

***A Proposed Charism that will begin as Congregational Recluses for the CAMM/CCMM Medical Division.***

Devotion for the Dying--not only the name of a book published by TAN, and the guidebook for these religious, but also the purpose of Mary's Little Company of Prayer for the Dying.  These cloistered contemplatives will offer themselves for the sake of the dying, and in the spirit of Mother Mary Potter, will pray constantly to Our Mother of Sorrows for the dying.  Devotion to the Sacred Passion will be included, also.

***Please note: We are not associated with the Little Company of Mary, which was founded by Mother Mary Potter, nor the Pius Union of St. Joseph for the Suffering and Dying.***

The Rule of St. Augustine will be followed, in addition to the Constitutions drawn up for the community.

These nuns will also be devoted to St. Joseph, Patron of a Happy Death; and St. Joseph of Aramathea, who buried Jesus.

Mary's Little Company of Prayer for the Dying will be Ecclesia Dei Traditionalist, using the 1962 Missal.  All prayers will be in Latin, to include the Latin Salve Procession after Compline.

The habit will be blue, with black scapular, and light blue veil.

Stages of formation and their habits will be:

Nova--three months--white blouse, skirt, hose, shoes, and light veil.

Postulant--nine months--black blouse, skirt, capelet, hose, shoes, and veil.

Daily Offering to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for the Dying:

O Lord Jesus Christ, in union with that Divine intention with which Thou, while on earth, didst give praise to God through Thy most Sacred Heart, and which Thou dost still everywhere offer to Him in the Holy Eucharist, even to the consummation of the world, I, in imitation of the Most Sacred Heart of the ever immaculate Virgin Mary, do most cheerfully offer Thee, during this entire day, all my thoughts and intentions, all my affections and desires, my words, and all my works, for those who are dying this day and have no one to pray for them.  Amen.
