The purpose of the Order of Sempringham of the Primitive Observance is to follow a modern, yet ancient, interpretation
of the constitutions written by St. Gilbert of Sempringham.
The nuns seek
the salvation of their souls through the practice of the austerities prescribed by the Rule of St. Benedict and the Gilbertine
Constitutions.
