The community of Ellesmere was founded by Nottingham in 1944.
 
Nottingham was founded from Levenshulme (England) in 1927.
 
Levenshulme was founded from Bruges (Belgium) in 1871.
 
Bruges was founded from Ghent in 1479.
 
And Ghent was founded in 1412 (established in 1442) by St Colette.
 
 
Notes:

The Poor Clare Colettines left Belgium in 1863.
 
Levenshulme convent closed in 1978.

The community at Nottingham was recently "re-founded" with sisters from India.
