Cloistered Sulpician Nuns
Home | Ministry-to-Charism

Welcome graphic

***A proposed charism which will begin as Congregational Recluses in the Sacerdotal Division of the CAMM/CCMM.***

This charism will draw its inspiration from the founder of the Society of St. Sulpice, Fr. Jean Jaques Olier, which was founded to support the diocesan priesthood.  The Cloistered Sulpician Nuns will spend their lives praying for vocations specifically to the diocesan priesthood.

***This charism is not associated with the Society of St. Sulpice.***

The nuns will be cloistered, will follow the Rule of St. Augustine, the Spiritual Directory of St. Francis de Sales, and will have perpetual adoration, rosary, and Divine Mercy Chaplet.

The habit will be black with a Roman Collar, black veil, and monstrance pendant.  A belt with a black 20 decade rosary will be worn.  Footwear is according to wearer needs.
