These sisters will be Salesian-Franciscan in spirituality, and contemplative-active in lifestyle. The Daughters of St. Andrew the Apostle, Handmaids of the Lord, will have among their apostolates the internet, especially social networking sites.

 

The habit will be a plain sapphire blue tunic with white cord, and long blue modified veil.  Novices will wear a white veil.  The Franciscan Crown will be suspended from the cord.  The sisters may either go barefooted or wear sandals.
