Welcome!

"She didn't FALL off that horse!"

On this site is the story I wrote when "Emergency!" was taken off the air.  I do not recall if my story was written after the reruns (syndication?) were replaced with something inane.

The story was an outlet for the overwhelming grief I experienced when not only the reruns were cancelled, but my best friend (another "Emergency!" nut) quit high school after her father's death; and my dreams of becoming a jockey were dashed for financial reasons.

My rationale for choosing Mike Stoker was:
(1) he hadn't received that much coverage;
(2) name value: Bram Stoker wrote "Dracula;"
(3) "Emergency!" fans were ready for one of
     the guys to fall in love; and
(4) Stoker was my favorite.
     (Please feel free to ignore #4).

(P.S.I. led to the current murder mystery work-in-progress, Murder by the 405).
