Hidden Disciples of Divine Mercy

Welcome Oriental

***A Proposed Charism that will emerge as Congregational Recluses in the CAMM/CCMM Social and/or Prisons Divisions.***

The Hidden Disciples of Divine Mercy are to spend their enclosed, contemplative lives calling down the Divine Mercy upon the world; praying for an increase in vocations to civil service; and keeping civil servants wrapped in constant prayer.

In the spirit of a request made by Our Merciful Lord to St. Faustina, His chosen Apostle of Divine Mercy, the Hidden Disciples will imitate Our Lord's life from the Crib to the Cross.  The habit will be that in which Our Lord clothed St. Faustina: white tunic and cord, red veil and cloak.  The nuns will wear a Divine Mercy medal, and red 20-decade rosary with Divine Mercy centerpiece, also.

We call our congregation the American congregation because it is founded in the United States of America.  Since we are not affiliated with the Polish Congregation founded by Fr. Sopoko after St. Faustina's death, we use this designation.  Vocations are encouraged from wherever they may hail from.

The habits for the different levels of Formation will be as follows:

Nova (three months): white blouse, skirt, tights, shoes, and light veil.

Postulant (one year): same as Nova, only with a white capelet.

Novice (one year): The sister receives the white tunic, cord, 20-decade rosary, Divine Mercy Medal, and white veil.

Temporary Professed (five years): The sister receives the red veil.

Final Profession: The sister receives a gold band which says "Jesus I Trust in You."

The community will be bi-ritual, although the Mass in the Extraordinary Form (MEF/TLM) is preferred. All prayers will be in Latin.

If one is of an autocephalous, sedevacantist, or schismatic mindset, we require reconcilation with Rome before an application will be mailed.  We recommend deep discernment--may the Holy Ghost be your guide.

Have mercy on us and on the whole world!"
