As per the request of the Father General of the Order of Discalced Carmelites, we are making known the
Carmels in the U.S., Canada, UK, and Irish Republic who may accept older vocations.
The Father General would prefer that existing Carmels accept older vocations, rather than a new Carmel for
older vocations be founded.
That being said, discerners are advised
to not knock on every Carmel's door, but knock on the one that attracts you.
