The Cloisterite Rosary is unique in that we use the six-decade Brigittine/Carmelite rosary with St. Benedict crucifix.  The hand rosary is of conservative color.  The habit rosary has light blue Paters and white Aves.

The mysteries of the Dominican rosary are retained, but the Brigittine Rosary adds the Immaculate Conception; the Pieta; and Mary's patronage as the extra Joyful, Sorrowful, and Glorious Mysteries, respectively.

This link will explain the four sets of mysteries...

Prayers of the Rosary in Latin (audio files included)

Method of praying the Cloisterite Rosary:

When picking up the rosary:

I pray for Dominican vocations

While making the Sign of the Cross:

I pray for Brigittine, Carmelite, and Benedictine vocations

Before (every) Creed:

I offer this for the New Evangelization.

On every Pater bead:

I pray for Franciscan; Servite; and Passionist vocations.

When the mystery is announced, pray for any charism that may be under that patronage.

After the Aves, the Credo is prayed again, offered for the New Evangelization, then the Fatima Prayer.

Our Lady of the Cloister, pray for us!
