The name of the Nuns of Our Lady of the Cloister has been changed to the "Stella Maris Contemplatives" (SMC). This
is due primarily to Cloister Outreach being a "safe harbor" for vocations.
We have one vocation for
the SMC, and possibly others. The seed vocation has trained for several years as a Cloisterite Hermit, and
is part of the original group desiring the cenobitic form of our charism. She presently resides in Texas, and is looking
forward to having companions.
